FAQs

Interested in joining us for a class? We got you, Mama. Here is everything you need to know.

Stroller based programs

Can I try a class before I join?

Your first class is always free! Click the link at the top of your screen to find out more.

Do I need to pre-register or can I just show up?

It is helpful to preregister ahead of time so the instructor can plan ahead for the right amount of people in class. There is also some information we need from you and a waiver needs to be signed before your first class, so it is recommended and appreciated if you sign up before hand.

What do I need to bring to class

For our stroller based classes, you will need a stroller or baby carrier for your kiddo, water for you, a towel or mat for our core exercises at the end and anything that is helpful to keep your kiddo happy in the stroller.

I just had a baby, when can I join stroller classes?

The recommended time to wait after having a baby is 6 weeks for a standard vaginal birth and 8 weeks for a C-section. We recommend that you have had your check up with your OB and they have approved you to return to exercise. If you are given any modifications by your doctor, it is important that you share that with the instructors so they know to provide modifications for you.

Can I attend classes if I am pregnant?

We have several pregnant moms in class, but it is recommended that you have been cleared by your doctor before starting a new exercise routine. We will provide modifications and alternative exercises for moms of all stages of motherhood.

How will I know if the class location has changed due to weather?

If you are signed up for class in Pike, we will notify you either through text or email. We will also post on our Facebook group. Always make sure to sign up for class if you're planning to attend so we're able to notify you ahead of time.

Do I need to be a runner to attend these classes?

Definitely not, we offer routes throughout our park locations that offer the distance for the moms that want to run and the proper distance for those that want to walk. We have a mix of runners and walkers at most classes.

At what age can my baby be in a jogger?

We recommend you follow the guidelines based on your stroller. You can find that information on the website or in the user manual.

Do I need a jogging stroller for the workout?

What happens if my baby doesn't like being in the stroller, gets fussy or I need to feed?

Our instructors are equipped with ways to help you out to keep your little one/s happy. We will sing songs, move around a lot to keep baby engaged. Our instructors are also always happy to hold your little one for you so you can get your workout in. When babies get hungry you can step aside to feed if you need to, put your little one in a baby carrier or we can help by bottle feeding while you get your workout in.

Can my older children walk along or ride their bike during class?

Once a child turns 5 they are allowed to be out of the stroller during class. They will need to walk, bike or scoot next to mom between stations and stay seated next to mom or the stroller when we are at each station. During summer and school breaks we have a handful of "big" kids come to class and they love to watch mom and see all of the little babies.

Mom-only classes

Can I try a class before I join?

Your first class is always free! Click the link at the top of your screen to find out more.

Do I need to pre-register or can I just show up?

We ask that your pre register in order to help the instructor to plan ahead for the number of clients in class and to sign the waiver before class starts.

Can I bring kids to mom-only classes like Body Boost or Body Ignite?

Body Boost & Body Ignite are kid free workouts and it is preferred that they don't join us for class, but we understand that plans change and it is important for you to take that hour for yourself, so we welcome them on an occasional basis if you need to bring them. It is important to know that they will need to be out of the way and entertained on their own. They can't sit next to you or run around with you, and the instructor will not be responsible for entertaining them.

Can I attend classes if I am pregnant?

If you were exercising before you were pregnant, either attending Body Boost or Body Ignite or something similar, yes you can attend class with your doctors approval. It is always recommended you discuss your exercise routine with your doctor through pregnancy. While it is healthy and recommended to exercise during pregnancy, it is recommended that you don't start any NEW strenuous exercise routines during pregnancy and always communicate with your doctor first.

Do I need to be in great shape to participate in class?

No, you just need to come to class with the right attitude. Our instructors will always make sure to offer exercises with different options, for example; Jumping Jacks can be stepped out with feet never leaving the ground, done traditionally or intensified by jumping with both feet off the ground.

How will I know if the class location has changed due to weather?

We will do our best to make changes in the schedule due to the weather the night before. It is important to make sure you're signed up for class if you plan to attend so that if there are any last minute changes we can notify you by text/email or call. We will also always post in our Facebook group.
